Todd McDonald from ATW Training & Consulting, Inc.
Selected to Attending National Security Forum

Des Moines, IA (July 1, 2014) – Todd McDonald, CEO and President of ATW Training and Consulting, Inc. recently had the pleasure of attending the 61st Annual National Security Forum (NSF) at the Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. The purpose of this event is to expose and engage influential civilians with U.S. and International officers and share perspectives and ideas on security issues.

During this event, 150 civilian leaders in business, education and government met with senior military leaders to discuss and explore current and future national security issues facing our nation. Over the course of three days, participants attended lectures, seminars for in-depth discussions and several social events.
As Todd McDonald notes, “This opportunity was one of the highlights of my professional career. To be able to engage with senior military leaders and talk about leadership and strategy was truly a once in a lifetime experience. To say that I was impressed by the quality and devotion of our military leaders would do them an injustice. They truly are our heroes.”

The Air War College is the senior professional development school in the Air Force officer education system as part of Air University. It educates selected senior officers to lead at the strategic level in the employment of air and space forces. The curriculum focuses on coalition war-fighting and national security issues, with emphasis on the effective employment of aerospace forces in joint and combined combat operations.
