ATW Partner Focus:  Blanchard LeaderChat Podcast

ATW is proud to work with the Ken Blanchard companies.  In a recent visit to their organization we were introduced to their monthly podcast and immediately thought about how great it would be to share with our partners.

In this episode of the Blanchard LeaderChat podcast, you will hear Patrick Lencioni, leadership guru and best-selling author of The Ideal Team Player and nine other books on teams and motivation.

Lencioni describes leadership as a calling that requires putting the needs of others ahead of your own.  Building on the concepts he first explored in his best-selling first book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Lencioni recommends taking a moment to consider your own behaviors when working on a team. He teaches how using a Humble-Hungry-Smart model can help you and others become more effective team members.

Congratulations to Our Recent Management Development Program Graduates!

We are pleased to announce that 19 participants graduated from our MDP. This group began the program in April of 2016 and represented a variety of industries, including insurance, health care, distribution and technology services.  Participants completed the 10-month program that combines classroom learning, self-study, eLearning, live webinars and podcasts.

ATW Leverages Productivity for our Furry Friends! 

ATW was recently able to serve both its client partners and the community at large with its quarterly Customer Appreciation Training Session.  This quarter's session focused on productivity in the workplace and was well attended by several of our client-partners.  Even more exciting were the generous contributions given to Furry Friends Refuge by our attendees.  This nonprofit provides essential needs and services for furry friends in the greater Des Moines area.  A win-win-win, all the way around!  We are grateful to all who participated.
